-7i DI�EN HILLS <br />MEMORANDUM <br />DATE: June 5, 2009 <br />TO: Financial Planning and Analysis Committee <br />FROM: Sue Iverson, Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: Policy Discussions — Investment and Arbitrage/Post Issuance <br />Compliance <br />At the March 13, 2009 meeting, Gail Robertson from Ehlers & Associates, Inc. presented sample policies <br />to show how our policies should be developed. The City has never had a policy on Arbitrage or Post <br />Issuance Compliance in the past and one needs to be established in order to be compliant. Staff has <br />completed a draft policy for discussion which is attached. <br />In drafting this policy, staff looked for other cities policies, all policies that we found seemed to have been <br />done from the same boiler plate document. There are not many cities who have adopted this policy yet; <br />many are just starting to look at this as we are. <br />0 <br />
