cities which will further outline and identify responsibilities, operations, and ownership of the <br /> new station. This JPA will also allow the cities to utilize bond funding for the project. This <br /> agreement is not needed at this time, and will be developed prior to the commencement of <br /> construction of the new station. <br /> The attached resolution (see Attachment B) will authorize the Mayor to enter into the three cities <br /> agreement to move forward with the land acquisition and authorize the City to fund its share of <br /> the land acquisition and the future road relocation. <br /> Budget Impact <br /> The city's cost to acquire the land of$341,000 is not currently included in the City's budget for <br /> 2020; however, the Council has previously discussed using a portion of the previous year's <br /> General Fund balance (per the City's Fund Balance Policy) to fund this expenditure so as not to <br /> negatively impact the Public Safety Capital Fund.
