Park Dedication <br />City Code 1130.08 requires that all subdivisions dedicate land to the City for a public use as a <br />condition of approval for the development. In commercial or industrial subdivisions where a land <br />dedication is required, seven and a half (7.5) percent of the gross area of the subdivision shall be <br />used to determine the parkland dedication. For the 21.94 acre development proposed, a 1.64 acre <br />park dedication would be required. A cash contribution in lieu of land dedication may be required <br />at the discretion of the City. The cash contribution fee shall be seven and a half (7.5) percent of <br />the fair market value of the unimproved land. Cash contributions for land dedication or park <br />improvements are to be calculated at the time of the Final Plat approval. The City may require the <br />payment prior to the release of the Final Plat or at a later time under terms agreed upon in the <br />development agreement. Park dedication for Lot 2 will be determined at the time of development. <br /> <br />Public Notice and Comments <br /> <br />A Notice was published in the Pioneer Press on September 18, 2020.
