ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL – AUGUST 24, 2020 8 <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />11. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Scott stated he observed a lot of traffic from City and County vehicles in his <br />neighborhood. He requested the City set a good example by observing the speed limit. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes reported the Valentine Hills neighborhood has received a flyer from the <br />Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department after the recent thefts that have occurred. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes commented she appreciated the donations that were made to the Arden <br />Hills Foundation for the Art Larsen Memorial Garden. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes wished Communications Coordinator Dawn Skelly all the best and <br />thanked her for her service to the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden suggested the TCAAP/Rice Creek Commons item be removed from the <br />agenda for the time being. <br /> <br />The Council supported this recommendation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden stated she was pleased to see the tennis courts being crack sealed and <br />thanked staff for this work. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant discussed the donations that were made to the Arden Hills Foundation. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden recommended a thank you note be sent to the Arden Hills Foundation <br />for their generous donation to the City. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to adjourn. A roll call vote was taken.
