Council directed staff to create <br />an online survey to gauge resident support. The survey launched on Monday, October 5 and is <br />open until Thursday, November 5, 2020. Staff will provide a verbal update on the status of the <br />survey at the meeting. During the meeting the Council also discussed holding a standalone public <br />hearing on the matter. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />Staff is looking for Council direction of when to hold a public hearing and the format to use. <br /> <br />1. Does Council still want to hold a public hearing? Y/N <br />a. Does Council want to wait to determine if they want to hold a public hearing <br />until they have an opportunity to review the survey results? Y/N <br />b. When does Council want to hold a public hearing? <br />i. Council previously discussed holding the hearing in November or <br />January.
