<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020-066 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR DELINQUENT FALSE ALARM CHARGES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property owners were provided notice of delinquent false alarm charges <br />pursuant to City Regulations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the adoption of this special assessment was initiated pursuant to the City of <br />Arden Hills Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Arden Hills City Council held a hearing on December 14, 2020. All <br />persons present at said meeting were given an opportunity to be heard and present written <br />statements. The Council also considered the recommendation of the City Staff that this special <br />assessment be approved; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ARDEN HILLS CITY <br />COUNCIL hereby adopts Resolution 2020-066, adopting and confirming special assessments <br />related to false alarm charges incurred at said parcels; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, in the event that the property owners do not pay any <br />portion of the charges, that the unpaid amount together with an additional penalty of eight <br />percent (8%) of the delinquent false alarm charge shall be collected with taxes levied in 2020, <br />payable in 2021. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 14h DAY <br />OF DECEMBER, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> David Grant, MAYOR <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________________ <br />Julie Hanson, CITY CLERK <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To view the final document, access adopted Resolutions via Arden Hills Public Laserfiche Weblink by visiting <br />cityofardenhills.org and clicking on Archived Documents under Helpful Links on our main webpage. <br /> Attachment A
