tee, <br /> EN <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2020-064 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> (GRANTEE) TO APPLY FOR A GRANT FROM THE MINNESOTA <br /> PUBLIC FACILITIES AUTHORITY <br /> WHEREAS, the Minnesota Legislature appropriated $500,000 to the Minnesota Public <br /> Facilities Authority (MPFA)under Laws of Minnesota 2020, 5th Special Session chapter 3,article <br /> 1, section 22, subdivision 6 titled Arden Hills; Water Main with the provisions: For a grant to the <br /> city of Arden Hills to install a water main extending along Lexington Avenue, from County Road <br /> E to marked Interstate Highway 694; and <br /> WHEREAS, MPFA has sent notice that to receive this money, applicants must submit <br /> required information before entering into a grant agreement(the"Grant Agreement")with MPFA. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden <br /> Hills,Minnesota,that that the City of Arden Hills(Grantee)has the legal authority to apply for the <br /> grant, and the financial, technical, and managerial capacity to ensure proper construction, <br /> operation and maintenance of the project for its design life. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Grant Agreement shall be executed on behalf of <br /> the City of Arden Hills (Grantee) by the signature of its Mayor and its City Administrator. In the <br /> event of disability or resignation or other absence of either such officer,the Grant Agreement may <br /> be signed by the manual signature of that officer who may act on behalf of such absent or disabled <br /> officer.
