From: <br />To:AH Planning; <br />Date:Thursday, January 7, 2021 11:15:10 AM <br />Caution: This email originated outside our organization; please use caution. <br />I realize I should have sent this email earlier however it is an issue that needs to be addressed for future building. <br />This is in regards to the building of the New Perspectives Senior Living application. <br />Does the City of Arden Hills and surrounding areas need another expensive Senior type of living? It seems to me <br />that we should be looking at building some affordable housing for not only seniors but families. How many Seniors <br />can really afford this type of housing that an independent apartment costs $3-4,000 per month. <br />Also this new complex will be across Highway 51 from the back of my lot — where there now are many trees and <br />places for wild animals and nature. Instead there will be a four-story building on the horizon. Is this the type of <br />future housing we should be promoting in our City. <br />I am 88 years of age and will not be living here in my home for another 20-40 years.
