CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO.2021-004 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council Resolution 2020-037, the city engineer has prepared <br />plans and specifications for Improvement Project No. PW-21-0100, 2021 PMP Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project, the improvement of Glenpaul Avenue, Edgewater Avenue, Jerrold Avenue <br />and Prior Avenue located between New Brighton Road and Cleveland Avenue. The plans and <br />specifications have been presented to the council for approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are <br />hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for <br />bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br />advertisements shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state <br />that the bids will be received by the clerk until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, <br />at which time they will be publicly opened in the council chambers of the city hall by the City <br />Clerk, will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the council at 7:00 p.m. on March 8, <br />2021, in the council chambers of the city hall. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned <br />during the consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the council on the <br />issue of responsibility.
