1 <br /> <br />To view the final document, access adopted Resolutions via Arden Hills Public Laserfiche Weblink by visiting cityofardenhills.org <br />and clicking on Archived Documents under Helpful Links on our main webpage. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2021-006 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has prepared plans and specifications for <br />Improvement Project No. PW-20-0103, Hamline Avenue and Shorewood Drive Improvement <br />Project, for installation of pedestrian crosswalk improvements along Hamline Avenue and <br />construction of drainage improvements along Shorewood Drive. The plans and specifications have <br />been presented to the council for approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are <br />hereby approved. <br />2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for <br />bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The <br />advertisements shall be published for 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state <br />that the bids will be received by the clerk until 10:00 a.m. on March 17, 2021, at which time <br />they will be publicly opened in the council chambers of the city hall by the City Clerk, will <br />then be tabulated, and will be considered by the council at 7:00 p.m. on March 22, 2021, in the <br />council chambers of the city hall. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during the <br />consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the council on the issue of <br />responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and <br />accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier’s check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the <br />city for five (5) percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />THIS 8th DAY OF FEBRUARY 2021. <br /> <br /> <br />________________________________ <br />Mayor <br />Attest: ______________________________ <br />City Clerk
