NO DIRECT COMPENSATION WILL BE MADE THEREFORE. <br />MATERIALS NOT TO BE USED IN THE PAVEMENT EMBANKMENTS SHALL BECOME PROPERTY OF THE CONTRACTOR <br />ACCORDANCE WITH SPEC 2104 & 2106. MATERIALS SUCH AS PEAT, MARL, MULCH AND OTHER UNSTABLE <br />BE REMOVED FROM THE EMBANKMENT FOUNDATION. THE UNSUITABLE MATERIALS SHALL BE DISPOSED OF IN <br />BACKFILL OR EMBANKMENT. MATERIALS DEFINED AS UNSUITABLE (TOPSOIL, ORGANIC MATERIAL, DEBRIS) MUST <br />THE DEFINED CATEGORIES IN SPEC 2106. THESE SOILS ARE THEREFORE NOT REUSABLE AS STRUCTURAL <br />UNSUITABLE SOILS ARE DEFINED AS SOILS WHICH DO NOT MEET OR ARE NOT MANUFACTURED TO MEET ANY OF <br />SPECIFICATION 2106. <br />MATERIAL IS DESIGNATED SUITABLE WITH RESPECT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE PROJECT. SEE MN/DOT'S <br />EXCAVATED MATERIAL SHOULD BE USED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PRACTICAL, SO FAR AS THE EXCAVATED <br />HAVE BEEN FINISHED TO GRADE IN ANY SIGNIFICANT AREA. <br />PRACTICAL TIME.
