APPROVAL OF AGENDAPUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONALThis is an opportunity for citizens to bring to the Council ’s attention any items not currently on the agenda which are relevant to the City. In addressing the Council, you must first state your name and address for the record. To allow adequate time for each person wishing to address the Council, speakers must limit their comments to three (3) minutes. Written documents may be distributed to the Council prior to the meeting to allow a more timely presentation. Speakers should not use obscene, profane, or threatening language, or make personal attacks. Matters of litigation involving the City shall not be discussed during Public Inquiry by citizens or Council. The Council may not respond to speaker comments, engage in a debate, or take any action on the issues raised by citizens, but may direct City staff to research or follow up on an issue, if desired by Council. If Council directs further review by staff, the results of that review will be presented at a following regular Council meeting.RESPONSE TO PUBLIC INQUIRIESSTAFF COMMENTSCOVID-19 UpdateDave Perrault, City Administrator
MEMO.PDF
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
January 19, 2021 City Council Work Session
01 -19 -21 -WS.PDF
January 25, 2021 Regular City Council
01 -25 -21 -R.PDF
CONSENT CALENDAR
Those items listed under the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine by the
City Council and will be enacted by one motion under a Consent Calendar format.
There will be no separate discussion of these items, unless a Councilmember so
requests, in which event, the item will be removed from the general order of business
and considered separately in its normal sequence on the agenda.
Motion To Approve Claims And Payroll
Gayle Bauman, Finance Director
Pang Silseth, Accounting Analyst
MEMO.PDF
Motion To Adopt Resolution 2021 -009 Staying The Effective Date Of Ordinance
Relating To The Sale Of Flavored Tobacco Products At Adults -Only Tobacco
Stores And Approval Of Settlement Agreement And Release With Arden Hills
Tobacco, Inc.
Dave Perrrault, City Administrator
MEMO.PDF
ATTACHMENT A.PDF
ATTACHMENT B.PDF
Motion To Approve Carryover Budget Funds From 2020 To 2021 For Hamline
Avenue Crosswalk Project
Gayle Bauman, Finance Director
MEMO.PDF
Motion To Adopt Resolution 2021 -010 Approving Plans And Specifications And
Ordering Ad For Bids –Karth Lake Runoff Control Project
David Swearingen, Interim Public Works Director
MEMO.PDF
ATTACHMENT A.PDF
ATTACHMENT B.PDF
Motion To Approve Professional Services Agreement With Alliant To Prepare
Feasibility Report, And Adopt Resolution 2021 -011 Ordering The Preparation Of
Feasibility Report –Traffic Signal System –Lexington Avenue Improvement Project
David Swearingen, Interim Public Works Director
MEMO.PDF
ATTACHMENT A.PDF
ATTACHMENT B.PDF
ATTACHMENT C.PDF
Motion To Accept Resignation Of Community Development Manager/City Planner
Dave Perrault, City Administrator
MEMO.PDF
Motion To Approve Proposal For On -Call City Engineer Services With HR Green
And Designation Of HR Green As Engineer Of Record For The City
Dave Perrault, City Administrator
MEMO.PDF
ATTACHMENT A.PDF
Motion To Approve Elimination Of Recreation Coordinator Position
Dave Perrault, City Administrator
MEMO.PDF
PULLED CONSENT ITEMS
Those items that are pulled from the Consent Calendar will be removed from the
general order of business and considered separately in its normal sequence on the
agenda.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
NEW BUSINESS
City Planner Recruitment
Dave Perrault, City Administrator
MEMO.PDF
ATTACHMENT A.PDF
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
COUNCIL/STAFF COMMENTS
ADJOURN
Mayor:David Grant Councilmembers:Brenda Holden Fran HolmesDave McClungSteve Scott Regular City Council Agenda February 22, 20217:00 p.m. City Hall Address:1245 W Highway 96 Arden Hills MN 55112 Phone:651 -792 -7800 Website : www.cityofardenhills.org City VisionArden Hills is a strong community that values its unique environmental setting, strong residential neighborhoods, vital business community, well -maintained infrastructure, fiscal soundness, and our long -standing tradition as a desirable City in which to live, work, and play. This meeting can be accessed remotely by joining via ZoomTo join the Zoom Meeting via your computer, click this link (or copy and paste it into a new browser): https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88933030907This meeting will be streamed live on local Cable Channel 16 and available for playback on our website.CALL TO ORDER1.2.3.4.4.A.Documents:
5.
5.A.
Documents:
5.B.
Documents:
6.
6.A.
Documents:
6.B.
Documents:
6.C.
Documents:
6.D.
Documents:
6.E.
Documents:
6.F.
Documents:
6.G.
Documents:
6.H.
Documents:
7.
8.
9.
9.A.
Documents:
10.
11.
