Agenda Item 3-A <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: September 15, 2020 <br /> <br />TO: Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee <br /> <br />FROM: Joe Vaughan, Recreation Programmer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Regional Solicatation Grant Update <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The Transportation Advisory Board (TAB) received 132 applications for funding as part of the <br />2020 Regional Solicitation process, including 38 applications within the Multiuse Trails category <br />for which the City of Arden Hills has submitted two trail project applications. Staff received <br />initial scores, indicating that Mounds View High School Trail project scored 25th and the Old <br />Snelling Trail Extension project scored 35th. Staff submitted a request for the TAB to reconsider <br />the draft score for the MVHS trail project. All requests to reevaluate scores will be resolved on <br />September 17, 2020 at the TAC Funding & Programming Committee meeting.
