This
letter provides a summary of each of these three items and proposes an amendment to our agreement.

Additional Services - Design Phase
In some areas of the project design, an expanded scope of services was required of Bolton & Menk to
successfully develop the project. As we discussed, these efforts include:

1. Additional public engagement effort/hours, specifically the addition of field office hours as
requested in addition to the virtual neighborhood meeting. The two sessions of field office hours
gave residents the opportunity to meet with the project team in-person and in safe outdoor space.
2. Additional coordination efforts with MCES which could not have been anticipated at the
beginning of the project.
3. Additional coordination and call with the Office of State Aid to determine inclusions in the
project estimate for Glenpaul Avenue.
4. Changes in the proposed utility improvements, such as pipe bursting vs. lining/grouting services,
for the forcemain and individual sewer service replacements which required additional labor
hours to integrate into the final plans.

These efforts to amount to approximately $5,000. We are proposing the project design budget be
increased to reflect this amount.

Additional Resident & Assessment Coordination to be Completed by Bolton & Menk
At the time of the original proposal, several necessary coordination steps were planned to be completed
by City Staff. Recognizing the recent departure of the former Public Works Director/City Engineer
however, these efforts are now proposed to be completed by Bolton & Menk. These tasks include:

1. Mailing landscape coordination letters to residents to inform of the impacts to landscaping they or
a past owner placed in the public right of way, which may be impacted by the project.
2. Coordination with residents to obtain the final right-of-entry forms, which may involve door-to-
door efforts in some cases and handing out flyers.
