To view the final document, access adopted Resolutions via Arden Hills Public Laserfiche Weblink by visiting cityofardenhills.org and <br />clicking on Archived Documents under Helpful Links on our main webpage. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-022 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE SNELLING AVENUE NORTH AND COUNTY <br />ROAD E STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2019-026 of the Council adopted August 26, 2018, a <br />report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of the following <br />streets: <br /> <br /> Snelling Avenue North from Trunk Highway 51 to County Road E <br />Cummings Lane <br />Bussard Court from Snelling Avenue North to 100-Feet West of Snelling Avenue North <br />Intersection of Snelling Avenue North and County Road E <br /> <br />WHEREAS, and this report was received by the Council on April 12, 2021; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a <br />description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report <br />and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement <br />of $1,242,600.00. <br /> <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 26th day of April, <br />2021, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator <br />shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by <br />law. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 12th <br />DAY OF APRIL, 2021. <br /> <br /> _________________________________________ <br /> David Grant, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_______________________________________ <br />Julie Hanson, City Clerk
