-AIZEN�HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2021-019 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT <br /> FOR THE HAMLINE AVENUE CROSSWALKS AND SHOREWOOD DRIVE DRAINAGE <br /> IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Hamline Avenue Crosswalks and <br /> Shorewood Drive Drainage Improvements Project, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according <br /> to the law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> Pember Companies, Inc. $133,421.65 <br /> Forest Lake Contracting $145,340.00 <br /> Goodmason Construction $152,396.00 <br /> Standard Contracting $157,672.05 <br /> Bituminous Roadways Inc. $159,724.00 <br /> Astech Corp. $165,893.03 <br /> Urban Companies $171,058.50 <br /> and; <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Pember Companies, Inc. of Menomonie, Wisconsin, is the lowest <br /> responsible bidder. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS, <br /> MINNESOTA: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract <br /> with Pember Companies, Inc. Menomonie, Wisconsin in the name of the City of Arden Hills for <br /> the Hamline Avenue Crosswalks and Shorewood Drive Drainage Improvements Project <br /> according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2.
