<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
<br />FOR THE 2021 PMP STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2021 PMP Street and Utility
<br />Improvement Project, the improvement of Glenpaul Avenue, Edgewater Avenue, Jerrold Avenue, and
<br />Prior Avenue, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids
<br />were received complying with the advertisement:

<br />Kuechle Underground, Inc.
<br />Northwest Asphalt, Inc.
<br />Meyer Contracting, Inc.
<br />Veit & Company, Inc.

<br />Geislinger & Sons
<br />Northdale Construction Company, Inc.
<br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc.
<br />and;

<br />WHEREAS, C&L Excavating, Inc. of St. Joseph, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS,
<br />MINNESOTA:
<br />1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract
<br />with C&L Excavating, Inc. of St. Joseph, Minnesota in the name of the City of Arden Hills for the
<br />2021 Street and Utility Improvement Project according to the plans and specifications therefor
<br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
<br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
<br />made with their bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder
<br />shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
<br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 12TH
<br />DAY OF APRIL, 2021.
