Following the approval of
these agreements, the County has made changes to the MOU and routed back to the City for
approval. Although the document highlights the City is ultimately responsible for the costs of the
temporary signal, the City is protected by the development agreement with Kensington that they will
be responsible for installation and future costs of the temporary signal. This is further agreed to by
Kensington Development in their attached letter. The City Attorney has reviewed these documents
and is comfortable moving forward for Council approval.

Budget Impact
N/A
Attachment

Attachment A: Revised MOU with Ramsey County
Attachment B: MOU with Ramsey County Approved on April 12, 2021
Attachment C: Development Agreement for Temporary Signal with Kensington Development
Attachment D: Letter from Kensington Development for Future Costs for the Temporary Signal

CONSENT ITEM – 2A
MEMORANDUM
