<br /> The Water Fund ended 2020 with a net position of $8,524,928, an increase of $296,717 from the prior
<br />year. Of total net position, $6,996,016 represents the net investment in capital assets, leaving $1,528,912
<br />of unrestricted net position.
<br />
<br />Water Fund operating revenues were $2,316,891 for 2020, an increase of $30,349, due to increased rates.
<br />Operating expenses (excluding depreciation of $318,037) were $1,619,171, which represents a decrease
<br />of $325,850. Expenses decreased, largely due to a reduction in other services and charges, with booster
<br />station improvements completed in the prior year.

<br />Consumption will fluctuate from year-to-year based on many factors, including weather patterns and
<br />number of utility customers.
