The proposed improvements include
bituminous paving, storm water improvements, concrete curb and gutter repair, and appurtenant work
on Arden Oaks Drive from Snelling Avenue North to County Rd E and Arden Oaks Court within the
Arden Oaks Neighborhood.

This report was reviewed and commented on by City Council at the July 19, 2021 Work Session.
Within the report it evaluates the feasible street improvements, all existing infrastructure elements,
improvements recommended, cost estimates of the proposed improvements prepared and funding
strategies developed in this report. Based on the analysis of the existing conditions, a full depth street
reclamation is recommended. Full Depth Reclamation will produce a uniform, stable, long lasting
roadway for the residents of Arden Oaks as well as reduce short-term maintenance.

Attached is Resolution 2021-042 which receives the feasibility report and orders the public hearing be
held on August 23, 2021. Staff recommends adoption of the Resolution in order to have this project
proceed to a public hearing. If adopted, staff would mail notices to each property owner in the
CONSENT – 6J

MEMORANDUM
