2020 City Property Taxes per Household per Month <br />In a 2020 comparison of nine communities in Ramsey County, the average cost of services on a $372,400 <br />homestead in terms of property taxes showed Arden Hills ranking as one of the lowest. <br />A $372,400 homestead in Arden Hills paid $78.08 per month in property taxes to the City. <br />City of Arden Hills Popular Annual Finance Report Page 5 <br />The median home value has increased from $300,300 in 2016 to $372,400 in 2020, a 24.0% increase. During that <br />same period, the city tax on a median value home has increased from $770 to $937, a 21.7% increase. The reason <br />for this difference is that the city tax rate has decreased from 26.539% in 2016 to 25.414% in 2020, a 4.2% <br />decrease.
