<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-044 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS FOR PROPOSED TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS <br />AS PART OF THE LEXINGTON AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 2021-011 of the Council adopted February 22, 2021, a <br />report has been prepared by the City’s Consultant Engineer Alliant Engineering, Inc., dated July 27, <br />2021 with reference to the Lexington Avenue Reconstruct Project and the proposed traffic signal <br />improvement at the proposed Target Road intersection: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this report was received and reviewed by the Council on August 9, 2021; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with <br />some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of <br />the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report <br />and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br /> <br />2.
