Plan Evaluation – <br />Noise <br />•CUP Amendment required to submit new sound system plans to the City Council for approval. <br />•Proposed sound system -SP-1000 Stadium Pro Sound from Nevco. <br />•Fully embedded sound cabinet within the scoreboard accessory structure. <br />•4’ tall by 6’ wide located atop of the LED screen. <br />•Surrounded by a 1” thick acoustic foam. <br />•Foam is said to reduce sound wave vibrations to the mechanical structure, but also dampens the sound waves leaving the rear of the display. <br />•There are no other sound system amplification or speakers proposed as part of the stadium upgrades. Previous review and discussion included speakers attached to lighting, but that has been eliminated. <br />•Sound cabinet = 2 speakers and 1 subwoofer
