Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEM – 6D <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: June 14, 2021 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Jessica Jagoe, Senior Planner <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Findings of Fact and Decision Regarding Application of Robert Kunze for a <br />Variance at Property 4073 Valentine Court (Planning Case 21-006) <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $ $ <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br /> <br />• Motion to adopt Resolution 2021-033 for the Findings of Fact and Decision Regarding <br />Application of Robert Kunze for a Variance at Property 4073 Valentine Court in <br />Planning Case 21-006. <br /> <br />All items need a simple majority for action unless otherwise noted. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />On May 24, 2021, the City Council considered the application of Robert Kunze for a Variance to <br />decrease the required side yard setback from 40 feet to 7.82 feet for the addition of a proposed <br />garage at 4073 Valentine Court (Planning Case 21-006). The application for the proposed <br />Variance was denied by a 3-2 vote. The City Council directed the City Attorney to prepare <br />formal findings for review and approval by the Council at its next regular meeting. The City <br />Attorney has completed the Findings of Fact and Decision document, which is included in <br />Attachment B. <br /> <br />
