Council requested a high-level cost estimate <br />of the City-wide speed limit transition, which was reported to Council in the September 24, 2021 <br />Admin Update. The initial estimate was $7,000 to $9,000, plus Public Works crew time. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />A further review of street speed limits and street signs, determined where new city-wide speed <br />signs could be placed, what speed limit signs can be changed to a reduced speed limit, which 30 <br />MPH speed limit signs need to remain (on MSA roads), where new 30 MPH speed limit signs <br />can be placed on MSA roads and where old 30 MPH signs on City streets can be removed. <br /> <br /> <br />
