<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2021-061 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR <br />3300 NEW BRIGHTON ROAD AND 1893 BECKMAN AVENUE <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Staff received a complete land use application for a Minor Subdivision <br />request on August 16, 2021, from Jill and Greg Casmey (“Applicants”), for review of a Minor <br />Subdivision to adjust the property line between 3300 New Brighton Road (“Subject Property A”) <br />and 1893 Beckman Avenue (“Subject Property B”) that would involve adding 796 square feet, <br />excluding right-of-way, to Subject Property A, as depicted on the attached Exhibit “A”; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 7, 2021, the Applicants submitted to the City a waiver of the <br />60-day period requesting to extend the time period for Planning Commission and City Council <br />review of the land use application. <br />WHEREAS, both the Subject Property A and B with the lot line adjustment are <br />conforming lots that meet the R-2 Single and Two Family Residential District standards for <br />minimum lot width, length, and area requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council directed Staff to prepare a Land Use Application Public <br />Policy Notification to notify all property owners within 1000 feet of Subject Property when a <br />request for the Planning Commission is to occur related to a land use application that does require <br />a public hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City’s obligation has been met where the Arden Hills Planning <br />Commission duly held a hearing on October 6th, 2021. All persons present at said meeting were <br />given an opportunity to be heard and present written statements; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Minor Subdivision shall conform to all requirements of the City <br />Code of Ordinances, which the Planning Commission has specifically made such division subject <br />to at its meeting at which the application for the division or consolidation is submitted; and <br />WHEREAS the Planning Commission considered the findings of fact provided by the City <br />Staff and, as such voted 5-0 in favor of the request; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of Arden Hills <br />approves the Minor Subdivision for 3300 New Brighton Road and 1893 Beckman Avenue, dated <br />October 25, 2021 subject to the following three conditions: <br /> <br /> Attachment A
