�ILLS <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2021-057 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION <br />WHEREAS, Arden Hills ("City") is generally authorized to accept donations of real and <br />personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 465.03 for the benefit of its citizens, and is <br />specifically authorized to accept gifts and bequests for the benefit of recreational services pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes Section 471.17; and <br />WHEREAS, The following entity has offered to contribute the cash amount set forth below to <br />the city: <br />Name of Donor <br />Arden Hills Foundation <br />Amount <br />$1462.00 <br />WHEREAS, All such donations have been contributed to assist the City in the establishment <br />and operation of recreational facilities and programs either alone or in cooperation with others, as <br />allowed by law; and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donations offered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA, THAT: <br />1.The donation described above is accepted and shall be used to establish recreational <br />facilities either alone or in cooperation with others, as allowed by law. <br />2.The city clerk is hereby directed to issue receipts to each donor acknowledging the <br />City's receipt of the donor's donation. <br />3.The finance department is hereby authorized to complete any budget adjustments <br />necessary to reflect this donation and corresponding expenditures. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN <br />HILLS THIS 25th DAY OF October, 2021. <br />David Grant, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julie Hanson, City Clerk <br />To view the final document, access adopted Resolutions via Arden Hills Public Laserjiche Web link by visiting cityofardenhills.org and <br />clicking on Archived Documents under Helpful Links on our main webpage.
