Public Works Director / City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Arden Manor Park (CDBG) & Floral Park Hardcourt Improvements – PSA <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $107,200 $81,161 CDBG Funds, PIR – Parks, <br /> RCWD Grant <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Motions to approve, table, or deny the following: <br /> <br />• Professional Services Agreement with HR Green in the amount of $81,161. <br /> <br />All items need a simple majority for action unless otherwise noted. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br /> <br />On April 12, 2021, City Council approved Resolution 2021-017 supporting the City’s application <br />for a CDBG funding opportunity for Arden Manor Park. At a Work Session on November 15, <br />2021, Council discussed the proposed improvements at Arden Manor Park and Floral Park. At <br />the Works Session Council also directed Staff to bring forward the Professional Services <br />Agreement from HR Green. <br />Staff has reviewed the PSA and recommends that the Council approve of the agreement with HR <br />Green and proceed with the work. The HR Green proposal provided a clear and organized <br />approach, a team with experience in similar grant funded projects, a detailed project delivery <br />schedule, and sufficient hours to complete a quality design and properly administer the <br />construction process.
