Appendix A <br /> <br />WAGES AND CLASSIFICATIONS <br />A. Effective at the signing of this contract, the following wage schedule for base pay <br />rates will be in effect for the Public Works Maintenance Worker, effective January <br />1, 2022. <br /> <br />Step <br />Pay <br />rate/hour <br />Time to advance to next <br />step <br />1 25.34 6 months to step 2 <br />2 26.58 6 months to step 3 <br />3 27.88 12 months to step 4 <br />4 29.24 12 months to step 5 <br />5 30.67 12 months to step 6 <br />6 32.18 N/A <br /> <br /> <br />B. For union members employed prior to January 1, 2020, the below transition plan would move <br />current members onto the new scale: <br /> <br />• Employees hired before January 1st, 2020 at the top step of the 2019 pay scale will <br />remain at the top step of the new pay scale. <br />• Employees hired before January 1st, 2020 below the top step will be adjusted to the <br />new scale on the below schedule effective January 1st, 2020: <br /> <br />• <br /> <br />• Annually, on their anniversary date, existing employees hired before January 1, 2020 <br />that are currently below the top step will advance two steps (or one step if only one <br />remaining) until they reach the top of the scale.
