It will also include how the site is graded for building pads, parking lots, etc., as well as any <br />berms created for screening. This plan may also need to be submitted to the applicable watershed <br />management organization for approval. Engineering staff generally reviews grading plans to ensure <br />conformance with engineering guidelines and city code. <br /> <br />What should planning commission ask themselves when reviewing? <br />• Where does the water go? Does it impact adjacent properties? <br />• Is there any swales or berms proposed? <br />• Where are the stormwater ponds? <br />• Has the watershed reviewed and approved the proposal? <br />• Has engineering staff reviewed and approved the proposal? <br />Utility Plan <br />A utility plan shows where proposed utilities (water, gas, electric, sewer, etc.) are located and where <br />they connect to existing services. Engineering staff generally reviews grading plans to ensure <br />conformance with engineering guidelines and city code.
