Public Works Director / City Engineer <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Draft ICE Report for County Road E and Old Snelling Ave Intersection <br /> <br /> Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $ $ <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />Council should consider discussing the results of the ICE Report for the intersection of County <br />Rd E and Old Snelling Ave. <br /> <br /> <br />Background/ Discussion <br /> <br />Attachment A is the draft ICE Report for the County Rd E and Old Snelling Ave intersection. <br />The County’s Engineering Consultant, SRF, has submitted the Report for review and comment <br />by City staff. Overall, this is a technical report that analyzes 3 different intersection control <br />alternatives and determines a recommendation for a long-term preferred improvement. Within <br />the study they take into consideration the existing conditions, traffic volumes, future growth, <br />cost, operation and maintenance comparison, etc. Using this information, the report concludes <br />that a roundabout is the optimum form of traffic control at this location. <br /> <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />Attachment A – Draft ICE Report
