,!T- <br /> -A IR�EN_ HILLS <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2022-005 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br /> ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to City Council Resolution 2021-025,the city engineer has prepared <br /> plans and specifications for Improvement Project No. PW-20-0100, Snelling Avenue North Street <br /> and Utility Improvements project, the improvement of Snelling Avenue North from Trunk <br /> Highway 51 to County Road E, Cummings Lane, and Bussard Court from Snelling Avenue North <br /> to 100-Feet West of Snelling Avenue North. The plans and specifications have been presented to <br /> the council for approval. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS: <br /> 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br /> hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br /> advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved <br /> plans and specifications. The advertisements shall be published for 21 days, shall <br /> specify the work to be done, shall state that the bids will be received by the clerk until <br /> 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at which time they will be publicly opened <br /> in the council chambers of the city hall by the City Clerk, will then be tabulated, and <br /> will be considered by the council at 7:00 p.m. on March 14, 2022, in the council <br /> chambers of the city hall. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during the <br /> consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address the council on the issue <br /> of responsibility.
