When this application is submitted, it will be sent to the Arden Hills Sheriff’s Office so they will be aware of the application on the business activities. Section 8: Business Commencement Please note that although the Company has been opened and registered, it will not commence business until the following is true: 1. Approval is given by the Arden Hills Planning Commission of the Class II Accessory Home Application, and 2. The ATF gives approval of the Type 7 FFL Permit Section 9: Other Considerations • The ATF requires an extensive background check as part of the application process. • The ATF requires an in-person interview to ensure that the applicant is aware of all laws and regulations regarding the handling and sale of firearms and their related activities. • The ATF requires any firearms in the possession of an FFL holder shall be secured and locked and must be shown to have facilities to accommodate this, which the Company already has in place as per Section 5: Security.
