The Applicant has requested a variance to <br />decrease the required side yard setback from 40 feet to 7.82 feet from the northwest side yard <br />property line. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />1. It <br />is designated for Low Density Residential in the 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan. The subject <br />property is the site of a single-family dwelling owned by the Applicant. All surrounding parcels <br />are also zoned R-1, Single Family Residential District and designated for Low Density Residential <br />Uses in the Lane Use Plan. <br /> <br />2.
