WHEREAS, the proposed map and text amendments have been discussed with the <br /> Metropolitan Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 8,2022 the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br /> proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments preceded by published and mailed notice; and <br /> WHEREAS, following the close of the hearing, the Planning Commission voted 5-1 to <br /> deny the proposed amendments; and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 27, 2022, the City Council considered the proposed Comprehensive <br /> Plan amendments, including the application, staff reports and presentations, public and written <br /> comment, and minutes from the Planning Commission. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden <br /> Hills, Minnesota: <br /> l. The above Recitals are incorporated herein. <br /> 2. The proposed map and text amendment to modify the boundaries described in the <br /> existing language of Chapter 6, shall include the Subject Property,and is referenced <br /> on Exhibit B. <br /> 3. The approximately 10.75 acres in the northwest corner of the Subject Property shall <br /> be requided to HDR, High Density Residential, with the other 30 +/- acres of <br /> developed land on the Subject Property remaining guided as P/I, Public and <br /> Institutional. <br /> 4.
