• City-sponsored recreation programs were very well regarded by participants; however;residents <br /> also saw a need for their expansion, particularly with respect to youth programming. <br /> Public Transportation <br /> Needs <br /> Arden Hills citizens were asked: <br /> Some communities currently have Dial-A-Ride <br /> buses, which provide service to points within the <br /> local area for residents who make an appointment. <br /> Other communities use smaller buses within a cir- <br /> culator system. Those who have lived in <br /> the community for over 20 years, those with no plans to leave the community, and frequent users <br /> of Park and Recreation offerings tended not to be dependent on this mode of transportation. <br /> The availability of public transportation was an issue impacting only a small portion of the <br /> population. <br /> • <br /> 46 <br />
