We have met with the City Mayors, Managers, and School
Superintendent to present this plan. The School is deciding how to potentially fund these
improvements. One options is to include the projects in a school bond referendum.
c. Bound Lake Trail -- Welsh Companies, the developer for the new Gateway Business District
buildings, has begun construction of the trail abutting their property. The construction of the trail
was part of their park dedication requirement.
d. Park edi ation -- John McClung is splitting his final piece of property for development of
two additional houses. As a part of this process, he is required to pay park dedication. I am
recommending an amount of$4,500. This is 6% of his land value.
•
