• MINUTES <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 1997 <br /> 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. 1)'?44*tr <br /> ARMY RESERVE CENTE <br /> R <br /> R <br /> LEXINGTON AVENUE AND HIGHWAY 96 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Lynette Kreidler called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present were Chair Lynette Kreidler, Megan Ricke, Don Messerly, Dorothy McClung, <br /> Anita Larson, Mary Robinson, Jim Johnson, Council Liaison; Susan Keim, and Tracy <br /> Petersen; Program Supervisor. <br /> Absent were Cindy Walsh; Parks & Recreation Director& Louis Speggen. <br /> APPROVE MINUTES <br /> • Minutes recorded by Tracy Petersen. Megan Ricke made a motion to approve the <br /> January 21, 1997 Minutes, Mary Robinson seconded the motion. <br /> Lynette Kreidler introduced Jim Johnson as a new member of our commission. Everyone <br /> welcomed Jim to our commission. <br /> COUNCIL REPORT <br /> Susan Keim provided the following Council report: <br /> • Ramsey County is finalizing plans for Highway 96 reconstruction between <br /> Highway 10 and Old Highway 8. This portion is scheduled to be completed in <br /> 1998. The current south bound lane on Highway 96 will most likely become the <br /> Round Lake frontage road. About seven(7) manufactured homes in the Arden <br /> Manor Trailer park will have to be relocated. Ramsey County is offering the <br /> persons who have to move their units money for a down payment on a house or <br /> for an upgrade to a new trailer. <br /> • Assessment Roll for 1997 Street Improvements was approved. <br /> • 0 A slurry coat mixture will be tried on trails this year for resurfacing. <br />
