Recreation Guide Page 3 Winter 1992 4JOUTH/TEEN PROGRAMS Cross-Country Ski Lessons $15 Learn basic skills and techniques.oftross-country skiing. Skiing will be at Valentine Park and on Valentine Lake. Acting—Play Creation $27 Participants should bring their own skis, boots and poles. Students work with a director to create an original play which AGES 8& UP they perform on the last day of class. Using creative dramatics, Sa 9-9:45 am January 9-February 13(5 meetings, no class improvisation,and theater games,students experience the ex- citement of developing and performing a play from beginning Meet at Valentine Park to end. Parents are invited to attend the last half hour of the last class. (Offered in cooperation with Stepping Scone Theater) GRADES I-5 Dance—Creative $35 per session, Th 3-4 pm February 4-March 11 (6 meetings) $65 for both sessions (Register for both Valentine Hills Elementary Gym at the same time to receive the discount). Th 3-4 prn February 4-March 11 (6 meetings) Island Lake Elementary Gvm Children learn beginning dance movements in a relaxed setting.
