Director's Report:
Perry Park
Pay estimate number four(4) is due, and we are paying for that. We are looking at
transferring the Storm Water Fund to the Park Fund, since it has to due with Storm Water
Drainage. A Change Order will be approved for Perry Park, we are still within the
original number that was anticipated. We talked about putting up side line fencing, due
to the fact that there may be tournaments held at Perry Park. At the next meeting it was
recommended that we talk about the an opening ceremony for Perry Park, ribbon cutting
ceremony and family activity events.
MN Amateur Sports
The City was approached by the MASC Blaine Soccer Facility to share with four(4)
other Cities, the responsibility and use of the an ice arena. The four(4) Cities involved
would be; Shoreview, Mounds View,New Brighton and Arden Hills. The question that
was raised was, would the City make any profit off of sharing the ice? There is a joint
City Council meeting proposed for this idea. There was good feedback on this plan.
NEXT MEETING:
• Wednesday, February 28
ADJOURN
Meeting adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
i
