MINUTES <br /> • CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> PARKS & RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> SEPTEMBER 26, 1995 <br /> 7:00 P.M. <br /> ARMY RESERVE CENTER <br /> (HWY 96 & LEXINGTON CLASSROOM) <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Anita Larson called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Members present were: Lynette Kreidler, Maureen Bodene, Louis Speggen, <br /> Mary Robinson, Don Messerly, Council Liaison, Susan Keim, Cindy Walsh, Parks & <br /> Recreation Director; and Tracy Petersen, Program Supervisor. <br /> Also present : Peggy Lynch, Friends of Parks & Trails, Greg Mack, Mark Nolan, Ramsey <br /> County Parks & Recreation and Tami Moberg, Arden Hills resident. <br /> Members absent were: Chair, Megan Ricke <br /> APPROVE MINUTES <br /> Minutes from August 29, 1995 meeting were approved by Dorothy McClung and <br /> seconded by Lynette Kreidler. <br /> AGENDA ITEMS <br /> Ramsey County Tree Sale <br /> Peggy Lynch was present from the Friends of the Parks and Trails. She informed the <br /> Committee that Ramsey County has a tree program in which trees are available for sale. <br /> Ramsey County also has a program in which individuals, groups, etc. can donate trees to <br /> parks. Peggy asked that Arden Hills come up with a list of trees they would want in their <br /> parks. This will be included in a press release. Donors can then select a specific park in <br /> which they want their tree donated to. Peggy recommended that thank you letters be sent <br /> from the City to acknowledge that a tree has been planted in one of their parks. <br /> • <br /> 1 <br />
