MINUTES <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> PARKS & RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> JULY 24, 1995 <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> ARMY RESERVE CENTER <br /> (HWY 96 & LEXINGTON CLASSROOM) <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chair Megan Ricke called the meeting to order at 7:25 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Members present were: Chair Megan Ricke, Louis Speggen, Lynette Kreidler, <br /> Dorothy McClung, Mary Robinson, Cindy Walsh, Parks & Recreation Director; and Tracy <br /> Petersen, Program Supervisor. <br /> Jim Theurer, Ramsey County was present. <br /> • APPROVE MINUTES <br /> Minutes recorded by Mary Robinson. The June 28 minutes were approved by Lynette <br /> Kreidler seconded by Dorothy McClung. <br /> AGENDA ITEMS <br /> RAMSEY COUNTY PARKS & OPEN SPACE VISION PRESENTATION <br /> Jim Theurer gave the presentation. This group layouts out the responsibilities & duties in <br /> the different groups within the Country\Cities. <br /> Jim is looking for verification of the mission statements for Parks & Open Space. After <br /> receiving surveys & feedback from Committees they will put together information for the <br /> different groups & then work toward the next step of the Committee. <br /> The County Manager's office is directing this project. This process will take place every <br /> 10 to 20 years and then only as need to be amended. <br /> Other areas that Ramsey County is looking at include: <br /> Surface Water, Human Services, Utilities, Health& Welfare <br /> • <br />
