The neighborhood meeting is Tuesday, May 23 <br /> from 7:30-8:30 p.m., our meeting is from 6:30-7:30 p.m. <br /> Anita submitted the following wish list for use of TCAAP property 25 to 30 acres; 4 <br /> (four) adult fields, 2-3 soccer, Little League baseball field, concessions, parking, picnic <br /> pavilion, ice rink (2 sheets of ice), tennis courts, football fields, volleyball, horseshoes, <br /> playground, roller hockey, trails etc. These are Arden Hills needs. <br /> May 30 - 7:30 Council meeting to request the solicitation of bids for Perry Park. <br /> Trails <br /> Sub-committee for trails, discussion on trails - current, projected and long- range needs. <br /> Don suggested we discuss trails as a whole vs. a sub-committee. Cindy stated we need to <br /> develop a long-range Comprehensive Trail Plan. A walking meeting for June or July will <br /> be set at the next meeting. <br /> COUNCIL REPORT <br /> 1. The City has hired Camiros Consultants to work on a Comprehensive Plan for the <br /> • TCAAP area. <br /> 2. CDC and Dynamark are splitting the land, but Dynamark is building at the site. <br /> 3. Council is getting questions about the media reports on the Indians interest for the <br /> arsenal property. It is too early to form any conclusions on the issues. A <br /> discussion of TCAAP followed. <br /> 4. EAW on E2 & Old Hwy. 10, it will cost $8000 - $10,000. The builders may not <br /> be willing to foot the cost. <br /> TRACY PETERSEN'S REPORT <br /> The adult softball program is under way this week, there are 63 teams in the league this <br /> year. The track program is underway, there are 200 + participants. There is Saturday <br /> registration coming up this week. <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> Flower planting on Saturday, May 20. There has been fewer and fewer volunteers. There <br /> is a need to have more volunteers participating in the flower planting. <br /> NEXT MEETING: <br /> Tuesday, May 23, at 6:15 p.m. at Army Reserve Center.
