• Arden Hills TCCAP Task Force <br /> Discussion on TCAAP. The Mayor asked for a Park Committee member to serve on the <br /> task force committee. The Park Committee members asked for more details and the <br /> expectations of the member to serve on the task force committee. Discussion followed <br /> about what is involved in the commitment. Dorothy McClung stated that her <br /> understanding was that it was more general in nature. <br /> Council has requested input from the four area cities regarding the area and in planning <br /> assistance in the development and coordination of government assistance. Anita Larson <br /> will be the Parks and Recreation Committee member to be on the task force. Lynette <br /> Kreidler will serve as the alternate. <br /> 1995 Park Committee Goals <br /> 1. Perry Park <br /> 2. Proposal for Parks and Recreation use of TCAAP area. <br /> 3. Trail usage in conjunction with the County, State and regional trails <br /> system. Update maps of trails and set up long range plan. (2 to 3 years <br /> out). <br /> 4. Develop plan on trail system in conjunction with previous years goals. <br /> • 5. Develop master plan for the gateway garden developments and <br /> improvements. <br /> 6. Five year plan on proposed expenditures. <br /> There may be a need to break down into smaller groups to develop trail system, gateway <br /> garden, etc. In March, each person should come with one idea of which subcommittees <br /> they would like to be a part of. <br /> Perry Park <br /> Cindy stated the North Suburban Youth Association made a$5,000 dollar contribution <br /> and would be willing to discuss again in 1996. There is a request that the park usage <br /> remains equal between adults and youth. <br /> There was a request that the packets for the Perry Park Proposal remain generic. <br /> ACTION: Cindy will have copies by next meeting. <br /> If the money was available the project could be done in one year. There was some <br /> discussion about the actions currently underway. 1995 Phase I of project is $300,000 to <br /> $350,000. The committee needs to form some type of resolution for the Council at the <br /> March meeting. <br /> Cindy Walsh updated the Committee on the donation of the C.E. Sheehy property. The <br /> • property will most likely be considered city property. She also indicated that the pending <br /> development of the corner of E2 and Old Hwy 10 would require the developer to pay a <br /> park dedication. This dedication would most likely be cash in lieu of land. A trail <br />
