The following is <br /> a recommended five year Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for <br /> park, trail and open space improvement in 2002-2006. <br /> Insert S year CIP <br /> Grants— <br /> List grant opportunities <br /> Partnerships—Within the City of Arden Hills, there are great <br /> opportunities for public private partnerships for shared use of <br /> parkland and private or corporate properties or partnerships <br /> with Bethel and Northwestern Colleges. In particular, it may <br /> be possible to improve upon the relationship between MSI <br /> Insurance and Crepeau Park to share parking and signage and <br /> to expand the facilities for both. Similar opportunities may <br /> exist with other large corporations such as ( company). <br /> Similarly, partnerships with Bethel and Northwestern College <br /> should be made or improved to provide community use of <br /> trails and athletic facilities. <br /> Other partnerships include working with the Rice Creek <br /> Watershed District, Ramsey County and the U.S. Army to <br /> complete missing sections of the Rice Creek Park and Trails <br /> and to hasten the release of TCAAP land.
