The survey results <br /> indicate that residents from all areas of Arden Hills use Tony Schmidt Park equally. <br /> Residents from all areas of the city also frequently use Cummings, Floral, Valentine <br /> Hazelnut and Perry. As expected,the frequency of use for each park seems to be based <br /> on their specific amenities, size and location. A smaller park such as Sampson, is <br /> frequented more often by residents who live close to the park. Trail usage ranked high <br /> among those surveyed. However, many of those surveyed commented on the need to <br /> expand or improve the current park and trail network. Use of <br /> children's playgrounds, nature areas, and picnicking and bird watching are popular <br /> activities. Popular active recreation includes swimming, running/jogging skating and <br /> hockey and team and informal sports.
