GENERAL INFORMATION r If you are planning a Small family picnic or large company gathering, Ramsey County'S parks have picnic facilities Suited to your needs. Picnic facilities are generally available May 15th through October 1st. Ramsey County parks are open one-half hour before Sunrise to one- half hour after sunset. Shelters can be reserved from 10:00 a.m. to one-half hour after sunset. Requests for shelter use at other times will be considered on a case-by-case ba0i5. PICNIC RE5ERVATION PROCEDURES PERM ITS Permits will be issued for the ensuing year beginning the first business day in January. RE5ERVATION5 Reservations will be accepted on a walk-in,first-come first-served basis only for • the first week in January. One permit per person. Mail-in reservations will be processed in the order in which they are received, beginning the second week in January. (Call reoervationiot at(651) 748-2500, ext. 504,to obtain instruc- tions on the necessary information to include in your request.) Telephone requests to hold a shelter will be accepted the Second week in January (3 busi- ness days' hold on shelters, 5 business days' hold on pavilions). Sorry, requests to hold Shelters or pavilions within seven days of the event cannot be honored. WE ACCEPT MA5TERCARD AND V15A CREDIT CARDS FOR RENTAL FEES AND SPECIAL U5E PERMITS. DEP051T5 MUST BE CASH OK CHECK ONLY. AMPLIFIED MUSIC Amplified music is not allowed in Ramsey County parks unless by special use permit for larger civic organizations. Music that is NOT amplified i5 permitted provided it is associated with a picnic facility reservation. SPECIAL FERMIT5 Special permits are required for pig roasters, dunk tanks, or other special event equipment. Special permits must be received in writing at least two weeks prior to event. 6enerator5 or auxiliary tents are not permitted in the parks. An additional fee of$25.00 is required for each Special permit. I
