Parks, Trails & Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes April 19, 2022 <br />Page 9 <br />Council Liaison Scott confirmed the City owns the parcel and asked if Triangle Park is irrigated. <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Swearingen said irrigation is provided by the City at this <br />location and asked for guidance regarding bringing this topic forward to the City Council for <br />consideration. <br />Council Liaison Scott suggested bringing this topic to the City Administrator for further <br />discussion with the Mayor, with the potential for the item to be added to an agenda as a Consent <br />item. <br />Committee Member Poelzer indicated she would then claim this park as one of her assigned park <br />locations. <br />A motion was made by Committee Member Anderson and seconded by Commitee Member <br />Dietz to appoint Committee Member Poelzer as the point person for organization the <br />volunteer groups. Motion passed unanimously. <br />A.Funding Sources Discussion & Park Maintenance <br />Chair Hinton stated she provided the information regarding funding possibilities on to the City <br />and relayed that the City appreciates the input. She encouraged members to continue to forward <br />ideas. <br />5. REPORTS <br />Chair Hinton stated that she appreciated the term expirations being added to the agenda. <br />A discussion ensued regarding status of current terms of the PTRC members. <br />Chair Hinton requested the term number be added to the PTRC agenda. <br />6. NEXT MEETING <br />The next PTRC Committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 17, 2022. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:24 p.m.
