DRAFT <br /> -AXQEN HILLS <br /> Approved: August 22, 2022 <br /> CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> AUGUST 8, 2022 <br /> 7:00 P.M. -ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Chant called to order the regular City <br /> Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Brenda Holden, Fran Holmes, David <br /> Radziej, and Steve Scott <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present: City Administrator Dave Perrault; Public Works Director/City Engineer <br /> Dave Swearingen; Community Development Director Jessica Jagoe; Finance Director <br /> Gayle Bauman; and City Clerk Julie Hanson <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> 1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br /> motion to approve the meeting agenda as presented. The motion carried (5-0). <br /> 2. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> Gregg Larson, 3377 North Snelling Avenue, stated Snelling Avenue has been under construction <br /> for the past several months. He explained this project was something he has been waiting for for <br /> the past 20 years. He reported the neighbors were all very grateful for the roadway and trail <br /> improvements. He thanked City staff and the contractor for managing the project well. He <br /> indicated he was surprised to learn that the speed limit had been posted at 40 miles per hour. He <br /> encouraged the City Council to reconsider this given the fact the roadway had been narrowed and <br /> the shoulders had been removed. <br /> 3. RESPONSE TO PUBLIC INQUIRIES <br /> None. <br />
