ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—AUGUST 8, 2022 3 <br /> 9. NEW BUSINESS <br /> None. <br /> 10. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None. <br /> 11. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Radziej explained he received a complaint from a resident concerning the speed <br /> of traffic along Lake Johanna Boulevard. This resident suggested digital speed signs be installed <br /> to address this concern. <br /> Councilmember Radziej reported a brewery was invited to Land O'Lakes and Boston Scientific <br /> and due to City Ordinance restrictions regarding small brewers, beer sales were not allowed. He <br /> encouraged the Council to consider changing City Code to allow for brewery/beer sales. <br /> Councilmember Radziej stated he was pleased to meet with many neighbors on National Night <br /> Out, which was held on Tuesday, August 2. <br /> Councilmember Scott sent his deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of <br /> Ramsey County Deputy Sheriff Dallas Edeburn. <br /> Councilmember Scott noted he and his wife attended seven different events on National Night <br /> Out and he thanked the residents of Arden Hills for hosting so many wonderful events. <br /> Councilmember Scott encouraged residents to get out and vote on Tuesday, August 9 in the <br /> Primary Election. <br /> Councilmember Holmes stated she attended a number of National Night Out parties. She <br /> appreciated the level of engagement that occurred at each event she attended. <br /> Councilmember Holmes supported a permanent speed board being posted on Lake Johanna <br /> Boulevard. <br /> Councilmember Holmes requested further information from staff on the Bark and Rec event. <br /> Councilmember Holmes indicated she would like to know more about what was occurring at <br /> International Paper. <br /> City Administrator Perrault reported the sheriff has been visiting the site but did not know if <br /> any citations were issued. He noted he'd report back. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated she attended a number of National Night Out events and she was <br /> excited to see so many residents out visiting with their neighbors. <br />
